  The food was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. We ordered the scallops with citrus salad - the salad was old and soggy and the scallops were off. Also ordered pork belly - this came as re heated tough and dry pork cubes, that we couldn’t even eat. The bruschetta was on reheated frozen garlic bread. And there was dust floating in my wine! So disappointing! Was really hoping to like this place. The only nice things was the chips and the waitress was very nice and friendly. However we still had to pay for all the food even though it was not edible.

  Service was quick but food very average and prices too high for what you get. Kids calamari consists of 3 rings. Salmon dry and overcooked, parma really average, flathead batter not cooked thru. Overall not good. Wouldn't go back.

  The Lakeside hotel is a great venue for the Merimbula Jazz Festival. Always sounds good, and offer great drinks and eats if you need to top up while listening to the bands.

  Mate paid $35 for fish of the day with roast potatoes and vegetables . Didn't know they could serve goldfish and 1 pitiful potato sliced into 10 pieces as a main meal . Oh sorry forgot the whole 2 sticks of asparagus. Decent meal for a mouse.
