  We have used Merimbula Lake Real Estate for the same holiday rental house in Pambula Beach for the past three years. We have always found them easy to deal with, reasonably priced and flexible. This year, while on our annual holiday, we discovered the house we have been renting will no longer be available. After visiting the office, the friendly staff helped us to find another great house, confirmed it would be available, and booked our dates. This was all done quickly and easily, so we can look forward to another wonderful holiday next year.

  I would rate this agent 0 stars if the option was available. For an agent who says they pride themselves on looking after holiday accommodation, this couldn't be further from the truth. After booking a two-week holiday months in advance, I arrived to discover the agent had double-booked a tradesman for the same two weeks. Not only did the agent fail to notify me of their error, they had also assured the tradesman that there would be no tenants during that period. Instead of admitting fault and either providing appropriate compensation in the form of upgrade to another property or calling off the work on the house, the agent treated me in the most appalling way where I was left with no choice but to leave and find my own alternative holiday accommodation.
